Santo Domingo.- Amidst long lines to board public transport vehicles, citizens of the municipality of Los Alcarrizos positively valued the construction of the Santo Domingo Metro (Line 2C), which will connect this demarcation with the rest of Greater Santo Domingo.
Outside a bus stop, several users expressed their hope that the work will alleviate traffic chaos and reduce travel time, especially during peak hours.
“We feel well satisfied with that part because we are going to be very comfortable,” said one of the community members.
It is recalled that President Luis Abinader reaffirmed that the work will be ready to enter into operation in February 2026 and announced that a GOB Point will be installed at that station, with the purpose of facilitating access to public services for residents of the area.
