Santo Domingo. – The Second Collegiate Tribunal of Santo Domingo Este sentenced Percila Sena and Adolfo Peña López to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old adolescent with a brain disorder, in an incident that occurred in 2023.
According to the Public Ministry, prosecutor
Ana Basora demonstrated the guilt of the accused, who kidnapped the victim as she left her home, took her to a property of Peña López, forced her to consume alcohol and drugs, tied her up and then abandoned her near her home. The complaint was filed by the young woman’s mother.
During the trial, prosecutors showed that the defendants violated articles of the Dominican Penal Code related to complicity, torture, assault on physical integrity, threats, and sexual assault.
The sentences will be served in the correction and rehabilitation centers
