La Vega, D.R. – The National Police are investigating the death of a man who passed away while receiving medical attention, after being wounded by a bladed weapon during an incident that occurred in the municipality of Constanza.
The deceased was identified as Jeuri Daniel Vicente Montero, who had been receiving medical attention since last May 30th and passed away while admitted at the El Pino Traumatological and Surgical Hospital in this city.
According to the death certificate, the cause of death corresponds to complications derived from stab wounds.

Preliminary investigations point to Randy Santos Suriel as the alleged perpetrator of an incident that occurred in the La Sabina sector, Constanza municipality, where both had allegedly engaged in an argument over romantic motives.
The National Police reported that the case remains under investigation for the corresponding purposes and that the alleged perpetrator of the act is in custody.
