Santo Domingo.- What seemed like a simple claim in the middle of a reality show ended up becoming a viral scandal that has brought serious consequences.
Mami Kim, former member of
La Casa de Alofoke, has been the target of a wave of criticism and retaliation on social media, after she made a live call to publicly accuse her former colleague Crucita of using shoes that allegedly belonged to her.
The call, made directly to Santiago Matías, creator of the reality show, was heard by all the participants and thousands of viewers. In it,
Mami Kim reproached Crucita for “putting on other people’s things”, in a tone that many described as humiliating and unnecessary.
However, the real answer came from outside, from the show’s fans, who, in revenge for the humiliation and lack of respect towards Crucita, began to mass report Mami Kim’s Instagram account,
accusing her of harassment and public abuse. In a few hours, her profile was taken down from the platform.
Users on Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter) celebrated the act as a kind of
“digital punishment” for their behavior. “That’s what she gets for wanting to humiliate another woman live,” wrote a user.
Others called it virtual justice: “The internet doesn’t forgive when they cross the line with someone vulnerable,” they commented on various social media platforms.

Some of his former colleagues also condemned his action. Mr. Jimenez recalled that it was precisely Crucita who took care of Mami Kim when she was drunk and vomiting in her early days.
“That’s no way to pay the one who helped you. Ungrateful,” she said during the broadcast. Kim’s attitude was described as disloyal, aggressive, and out of place.
This new episode within La Casa de Alofoke, demonstrates how the behavior of the participants not only has an impact within the show, but can also trigger real reactions off-camera.
