Santo Domingo.- A man died this Thursday afternoon after falling from the Juan Bosch bridge, in an incident that occurred on the road connecting the National District with the Santo Domingo Este municipality.
So far, the authorities have not been able to establish the identity of the victim. The body remained at the scene while personnel from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) carried out the corresponding removal, in coordination with the competent agencies.

Agents from the National Police and units from the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security Attention System arrived at the site, cordoned off the area, and began investigations to determine the circumstances under which the incident occurred.
The incident caused significant traffic congestion in both directions of the road, while the authorities carried out their work.
The National Police reported that investigations are continuing with the goal of identifying the victim and clarifying the circumstances of the death.
