Santo Domingo.- Agents of the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), in coordination with personnel from the Specialized Directorate for Attention to Women and Intrafamily Violence (DEAMVI), arrested a man who was actively sought under an arrest warrant for his alleged connection to a gender-based violence case.
This is Luis Enrique Everts Marín, who was wanted by judicial authorities following a complaint filed against him by Mrs. Yenifer Crismar Marín Díaz, a Venezuelan citizen. The actions were coordinated at all times with representatives of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The arrest was carried out in compliance with the judicial order issued by the competent authority, as part of the actions aimed at ensuring the protection of victims and compliance with the law.
The detainee will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
It is highlighted that the complainant has received assistance from the Ministry of Women and DEAMVI.
