Santiago.- The Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) carried out a simultaneous verification day this Saturday in the 41 zones that make up the six regions of the municipality of Santiago, as part of the national program “Verify Yourself”.
The activity was led by the president of the municipal committee of the PRM, engineer Andrés Cueto, who highlighted that the main objective is to strengthen the party structure through the ratification of members and the affiliation of new militants.
Cueto explained that during the day citizens were able to verify, update or formalize their registration in the party, in an atmosphere he described as “a true celebration of democracy”.
“The enthusiasm has been extraordinary. This program reaffirms our commitment to the party, to the Dominican people, and to the excellent management led by President Luis Abinader,” said the leader.
For his part, the general secretary of the PRM in Santiago, licensed Federico Reinoso, detailed that the process is carried out through the verification ID card by ID card, which guarantees the validity of each registration and speeds up the integration of new members.
Meanwhile, the PRM’s chief operating officer, licensed Eddy Ortega, pointed out that this initiative seeks to empower the regions and encourage an active participation of the rank and file in the party’s internal processes.
Likewise, the authorities reported that the program has a digital platform available on the portal prm.org.do, which integrates biometric validation tools, ensuring that each registration effectively corresponds to its owner.
The PRM in Santiago maintains a permanent process of accompaniment and training in all its zones, as part of the Militant Ratification and Affiliation Program (PRACAF), with a view to consolidating its internal structure in the face of the upcoming electoral challenges.
