Santo Domingo.- Interpol agents in the country arrested at the Las Américas International Airport (AILA) a Dominican national who had been a fugitive from justice for 14 years after being accused of participating in a homicide on September 30, 2011, in the municipality of Tamay, the National Police reported this Friday

The detainee, who was trying to board a flight to Madrid, Spain, at the time of his arrest, was found with two passports, two cell phones, and other documents. Matos Montero will be transferred to the jurisdiction of Barahona to be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, in order to answer for the acts he is accused of.
