Santo Domingo.– The senator for the province of María Trinidad Sánchez, Alexis Victoria Yeb, announced that through his foundation, donations of bariatric surgeries will be made to low-income people throughout the country.
“Próximamente, y en conjunto con Iván Ruiz y la telerrealidad, donaremos 20 operaciones bariátricas a nivel nacional todos los años, mientras yo tenga vida”,
expresó el presidente de la Fundación.
The initiative is part of the corporation’s social responsibility program, which, through the Victoria Yeb Foundation, already carries out multiple solidarity actions, including support for diabetic patients without resources, donations of food rations and financial contributions to hospitals, especially in Nagua.
The statements were offered at the 25th anniversary event of the Grupo Victoria Yeb, chaired by the senator, and with this action seeks to expand the impact of its social work at the national level, to continue contributing to improving the quality of life of those who face medical conditions derived from overweight and obesity.
