Spain.– Eight Dominicans were arrested following a violent fight with machetes and knives that occurred during the early hours of Sunday in the Barrio Húmedo of León, Spain, as reported by the local media outlet León24Horas.
According to the publication, the detained Dominicans, aged between 20 and 30, are allegedly members of the Trinitarios. The confrontation reportedly began around 2:30 a.m. at a nightclub and subsequently spread to different parts of the city.
National Police agents deployed an operation that allowed for the arrest of the Dominicans involved in areas such as the Barrio Húmedo, Don Gutierre square, La Rúa, and Puerta Moneda.
Bladed weapons seized
During the intervention, the authorities reportedly seized several machetes, double-edged knives, and other bladed weapons allegedly used during the confrontation.

The fight in which the Dominicans were involved left several people injured, some of whom had to receive medical assistance at the León Hospital.
The Government Subdelegation confirmed to the aforementioned media outlet that one of those involved suffered an ankle injury while attempting to escape.
