Santo Domingo Este.– The mother of urban artist El Sujeto Oro 24 was reportedly the victim of a robbery at her residence, after a man allegedly used the excuse of asking for water to get close to her and steal her cell phone.
The complaint was disseminated through the Instagram account El Mejor Hombre, where it was reported that the individual arrived at the lady’s home and, after asking her for water, allegedly took advantage of the moment to commit the robbery and subsequently escape.
According to the publication, residents of the area managed to intercept the alleged perpetrator shortly after the incident.
Alleged suspect is reportedly in custody
The information disclosed on social media maintains that the man identified for the robbery is being held at the Felicidad Detachment, in Los Mina.
The publication also asserts that a vehicle allegedly related to the incident was seized and that the route used during the escape has been identified.

In the disseminated message, warnings were made against other people who were allegedly linked to the incident, and the return of the stolen cell phone was demanded.
So far, the National Police have not publicly offered an official version of the incident, so the circumstances of the case and the legal situation of the individual in question must be confirmed by the authorities.
