Santo Domingo.– Banco Caribe reported that the international firm Feller Rate confirmed its solvency rating at “A-” and raised its outlook from “Stable” to “Positive,” a result that reaffirms the institution’s momentum and growth potential in the execution of its sustainable growth strategy, business diversification, and institutional strengthening.
Referring to this result, Edgar Del Toro, Executive President of Banco Caribe, stated:
“This independent assessment recognizes the consistent work we have been doing to build a bank that is increasingly closer and prepared for the future. The improvement in our outlook reflects the impact of a strategy focused on strengthening our capabilities, diversifying the business, and generating sustainable value for our clients, shareholders, and the country.”
In its report, Feller Rate notes that the entity maintains adequate business, risk, funding, and liquidity profiles, supported by a strategy focused on strengthening its competitiveness through digital transformation, operational efficiency, the development of a differentiated value proposition, the optimization of its service channels, and deepening into new business segments. Likewise, it highlights the progress in customer segmentation and strategic alliances as a lever for growth, elements that expand the entity’s business opportunities moving forward.
The rating agency also highlights the positive evolution of portfolio quality indicators, driven by more robust risk management and greater commercial specialization, factors that consistently strengthen the bank’s ability to generate value in a sustainable and scalable manner.
This recognition adds to the accelerated evolution that Banco Caribe has been experiencing in recent years, marked by investments in innovation, digital transformation, the strengthening of its corporate governance, an increasingly specialized value proposition for individuals and companies, and a vision of responsible banking that integrates sustainability as a transversal axis of its strategy.
The confirmation of the “A-” rating along with the upgrade of the outlook to “Positive” constitutes a strong endorsement of Banco Caribe’s strategic direction and confirms the institution’s potential to continue growing with solidity, discipline, and a long-term vision, strengthening the trust of clients, investors, partners, and other stakeholders in its ability to generate value in a sustained manner.
