Alan Ritchson, star of the series Reacher, is being investigated following an incident that occurred on Sunday in a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, in which he allegedly physically assaulted a neighbor in the presence of his minor children.
The alleged victim, Ronnie Taylor, stated to TMZ that the origin of the conflict dates back to Saturday, when Ritchson allegedly drove at high speed through the quiet neighborhood on a green Kawasaki motorcycle.
According to the testimony, the actor repeatedly revved the engine, disturbing the peace of the place.
Taylor admitted to the same media outlet that she had made an obscene gesture to the artist, who had responded in the same way.
The next day, around noon on Sunday, Ritchson returned to the neighborhood, this time accompanied by two of his sons, who were riding their own motorcycles.
According to the victim’s account to TMZ, when she asked the actor to stop doing it — with a phrase that included a swear word — the situation escalated into a physical confrontation.
Ronnie Taylor told authorities that Alan Ritchson hit him in the face and kicked him, and that after falling to the ground he was hit on the back of the head.
According to her version, the celebrity would have hit her “at least four times” while she was on the ground, causing her
visible bruising and swelling. Photographs of Taylor’s face with obvious marks were obtained and published by
TMZ.
Taylor told the portal that he did not require hospital attention and that he filed a complaint with the police.
The incident was recorded on video. The images show Ritchson hitting a man who was kneeling on the ground, while two minors, reported by TMZ as the actor’s children, watch the scene from their motorcycles.
Sources close to the actor offered a different version of events to TMZ. According to these testimonies, it was Taylor who approached Ritchson in a
“very aggressive” manner and tried to interfere with his motorcycle, which would have caused the actor to fall twice.
These sources maintain that it was Taylor who “initiated and instigated” the incident. According to this version, Ritchson ended up with
a minor finger injury, in addition to cuts and bruises.
Police sources confirmed to TMZ that there is an ongoing investigation stemming from the incident, although no arrests have been made at this time.
The actor’s representatives did not respond to requests for comment from various media outlets.

In statements published by the magazine
Men’s Health in March 2024, he explained that his family chose to sell their residence in Florida to live in hotels and temporary apartments while he works in different locations, with the aim of not separating during filming.
Neither the actor nor his wife have posted anything on social media since the incident became public.
