About Carlota la más Barrial

Carlota is unibrowed, unstoppable, and the uncrowned boss of Villa Hermosa, a picturesque neighborhood in Santo Domingo that always finds a way to get ahead. Everything was going more or less well, until Fuca and his gang of criminals arrive to impose fear and control. With her fierce character and sharp tongue, Carlota mobilizes her people to defend what is theirs, amidst protests, exiles, and a lot of community resistance. An urban comedy that celebrates the courage of a neighborhood that lives under a single motto: “The united neighborhood will never be defeated.”
