An emotional moment took place during a cueca performance held as part of Chile’s Independence Day celebrations, when a young man decided to dance alongside a photograph of his late mother.
As another person held the portrait, he performed the traditional Chilean dance in front of the image of his mother, turning the presentation into a tribute to her memory.
“You are my unforgettable dance, Mom,” the young man wrote on social media.
The moment moved those who witnessed it and later thousands of TikTok users after the video began going viral.
