A 17-year-old teenager in Massachusetts has been charged with the double homicide of his mother and his 14-year-old brother, according to prosecutors.
The Massachusetts District Attorney’s Office alleges that the teenager told a judge he had used tools such as ChatGPT to develop theoretical fantasies about murder.
The teenager is being held without bail while awaiting a mental health evaluation and his next preliminary hearing.
The allegations remain unproven, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
