Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez was met with protests during his official visit to Ceuta, following the recent mass arrival of migrants into the Spanish enclave. Dozens of people gathered outside the Autonomous Palace to express their opposition to the government’s handling of migration.
As Sánchez arrived for a meeting with Ceuta’s regional president, demonstrators chanted slogans including “Sánchez, resign” and “Out, out,” reflecting growing public frustration over the government’s migration policies.
Spanish National Police deployed a security operation to maintain order during the visit as tensions remained high around the demonstration.
