A group of Venezuelan rescuers known as the “Brigada Vinotinto” got tattoos of the Venezuelan flag after spending more than three weeks working alongside Mexico’s renowned Topos Aztecas in rescue operations.
According to the group, the tattoos symbolize unity and the commitment shared by the volunteers who participated in the mission.
The rescuers also announced plans to create a new organization called the “Topos Venezolanos,” inspired by the Mexican search-and-rescue team. The initiative aims to provide emergency response and rescue assistance both in Venezuela and in other countries when needed.
The announcement comes after weeks of joint efforts between the Venezuelan volunteers and the Topos Aztecas during rescue operations.
