SANTO DOMINGO.– With the goal of strengthening administrative transparency and consolidating ethical values in public management, the Office of the National Baseball Commissioner held the election of the members who will form its Governmental Integrity and Regulatory Compliance Commission (CIGCN).
This initiative aligns closely with the policy of institutional strengthening and the ethical values promoted by President Luis Abinader and Dr. Milagros Ortiz Bosch, Director General of Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG).
Highlighting the relevance of this process, Commissioner Junior Noboa emphasized that sports should not only be an example of discipline on the playing field, but also in the administrative sphere.

“Transparency is not an option, but an unrenounceable commitment. With the formation of this Commission, we are taking a transcendental step to strengthen our institutional framework and ensure that every action we take is strictly adhered to the principles of integrity and morality of the state system,” stated Noboa.
The new members of the CIGCN, elected by their respective occupational groups, are: Humberto Peña, Luis Grullón, Erickson Marte, Licelot Abreu Saldaña, and Luis Fernando Taveras.
