United States.- The Players’ Weekend will return this August for the second consecutive year, again offering a vibrant stage for Major League players to showcase their personality, passions, and causes that inspire them beyond the playing field.

The event is scheduled from August 15 to 17, 2025 and will culminate with the Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where the Mets and the Mariners will face off in the traditional Sunday Night Baseball broadcast by ESPN.
Following its successful return in 2024 —after a four-year hiatus— Players’ Weekend will maintain the three thematic pillars that marked its reintroduction:
- Interests off the field: highlighting the players’ hobbies, interests, and creative facets.
- Causes: giving visibility to the charitable and community initiatives that each player supports.
- Acknowledgment: providing a space for players to recognize those who helped them reach the Major League level.
During the weekend, players will wear customized attire, including bats, hooks, and special caps, while themed content will be displayed in stadiums, broadcasts, and social media to reinforce the connection between players and fans.
In addition, after the event, players will be able to auction off their personalized implements on MLB.com/Auctions, and the proceeds will go to charitable causes selected by them.
In 2024, Players’ Weekend was a resounding success: it generated 74.5 million impressions, 2.4 million social media interactions, and a 30% increase in MLB conversation compared to the same period last year, solidifying itself as one of the most effective initiatives to broaden the cultural reach of baseball
