Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader received the Leones del Escogido this Thursday in the Green Hall of the National Palace, after being proclaimed champions of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). The team went to the Government House to present the trophy obtained in Dominican professional baseball, in an act full of emotion and pride prior to the team’s participation in the Caribbean Series 2026, in Jalisco, Mexico.
