Santo Domingo. – The team from the league of the Association of Pharmaceutical Product Vendors, (Adovenprofar-A), prevailed by the lethal route over Villa Juana and the victory took them directly to the final for the championship of the South Division, in the XXXV Junior Superior tournament, organized by the Softball Association of the National District (Asadina).
In the game held on the grounds of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Adovenprofar defeated Villa Juana 17 runs to three, supported by the pitching of Jeison Jerez, the winning pitcher, and the batting of Randy Núñez, who hit two home runs and a single with four RBIs. Robert Castillo was the losing pitcher.
In addition to Núñez, Giancarlo Arias stood out on offense for the winners, hitting a home run, double and singles, with three RBIs; Edison Ortega, home run and two singles and Dany Ureña with a double and a hit.
Peña Gómez wins and advances
La liga Peña Gómez defeated Naco with a score of 10-7. The victory puts them against the Centro league team tonight, in the second game of the day to be held at the UASD stadium.
