United States.- The Dominican singer residing in the USA, Anaís Martínez Vega, reappeared on social media with an extensive message in which she clarified the situation regarding the custody of her children and assured that currently their father is the one in charge of them.
In a post shared on her Instagram account, the artist explained that she decided to hand over custody of her children in order to have time for herself and to step away from some responsibilities that, as she expressed, were causing her pressure.
And as for the custody of my children, I gave it to their father so that he can take care of them, cook for them, and do everything else, and so that the school stops bothering me. It is my moment, and whoever doesn’t like it, well, too bad. It is my time, and to those who don’t like me, I tell them that I am like bad food: I will always make you go to the bathroom for consuming what you don’t like. Understood?
The performer also assured that at some point she will tell her version of situations she experienced during her relationship with the father of her children, although she specified that she will do so when she considers it the right time.
“One day I will tell my truth and in my own time. But the father of my children did not give me anything nor did he fix my life. If he did anything, it was to make me feel that I didn’t want to live for more than 10 years“, she pointed out.

The singer also asked for respect for her children and for her ex-husband during this process, while making it clear that she considers that her ex-partner’s family is no longer part of her personal affairs.
Anaís closed her message by reaffirming her desire to be respected and by self-identifying. “PERIOD. AKA QUEEN A. 🫶🏽💗🙏🏽🙌🏽”
This post was shared after it became known that the artist was hospitalized after going through a mental health crisis and was seen walking naked down an avenue in New Jersey, as reported by the Mexican artist Cristina Eustace, a close friend of Martínez.
