Santo Domingo.– The International Ministry Monte de Dios Horeb will hold the traditional Family Festival next Friday, February 27, in the Mirador Norte Park, in Villa Mella, with the purpose of inspiring society to strengthen harmony and family unity, establishing God as the center and foundation of their lives.
From 9:00 a.m., more than 10,000 people of all ages will gather at this annual event, which will include recreational games, sports competitions, praise concerts, and artistic presentations in a healthy environment.
Pastors Miguel and Montserrat Bogaert highlighted that the Family Festival is a celebration full of joy and values, aimed at strengthening family ties and highlighting the fundamental role of the family in building a better society.
In that sense, Pastor Miguel Bogaert affirmed that the social breakdown in the Dominican Republic is due to the lack of values education, which are consolidated when they are based on the love and fear of God, since loving God is not imposed, but rather modeled and transmitted from the home.
This great celebration brings together churches and families from different provinces and localities of the country every year, including La Romana, San Francisco de Macorís, Bonao, San Pedro de Macorís, Higüey, Navarrete, Bávaro and Tenares, as well as various communities of Gran Santo
