Waiting for the release of the hostages, confirmed for this Monday morning according to the main Israeli coordinator for the return of the captives, Gal Hir, the Egyptian city of Sharm el Sheij is preparing to host the same day the Peace Summit on Gaza, co-chaired by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and his Egyptian counterpart, Abdelfattah al-Sisi. According to the Egyptian Presidency, more than 20 world leaders have confirmed their attendance at this meeting, whose central objective is to sign an agreement to end the war in the Palestinian enclave and lay the foundations for a new stage of stability and security in the Middle East. This first phase of the agreement also contemplates the entry of more humanitarian aid to Gaza and the return of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, so the Hamas terrorists have until noon on Monday local time (09:00 GMT) to release all the captives, both alive and dead, who are still in the Strip.
