Monseñor Nouel.— The Dominican government allocated RD$30 million to complete the construction work on the public market in the municipal district of Juma Bejucal, a project that represents a significant demand from the community and is intended to strengthen commercial activities in the area.
The resources were delivered during a ceremony led by the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Andrés Bautista, who formalized the delivery to the mayor of Juma Bejucal, Teodoro Santos, in the presence of provincial and municipal authorities and representatives of different sectors.
During her speech, the governor of Monseñor Nouel, Adela Tejada, highlighted the willingness of President Luis Abinader’s government to work for the benefit of the communities, without taking into account the political differences of local authorities.
Tejada maintained that the well-being of the population must be above any partisan interest, considering that coordination between the different levels of government is fundamental to promote projects that contribute to the development of municipalities and municipal districts.
