Santiago.- Typical merengue artist Christopher Reyes, known artistically as La Fiera Típica, presented this Wednesday “Viento, licor y sal” (Wind, Liquor, and Salt), his first album composed entirely of original songs, a production with which he seeks to strengthen his artistic proposal and contribute new sounds to the Dominican typical merengue.
The album brings together 12 original compositions, several of them written by the performer himself, who opts for a repertoire inspired by his life events, emotions, and personal experiences, with the goal of offering a fresh proposal without losing the essence of the genre.
As part of the release, the artist premiered the single “Viento, limón y sal” (Wind, Lemon and Salt), also written by him, a song that fuses traditional merengue with elements of urban music, betting on a contemporary style aimed at both the traditional audience and new generations.

The official music video was produced by José López and his team, using the beaches of the Montecristi province and the facilities of Coco Mar as settings. The audiovisual piece was presented during the official launch event held at the Gran Teatro del Cibao bar, in Santiago.
With this production, La Fiera Típica seeks to expand its reach within the music industry and consolidate a renewed proposal based on creativity, interpretive quality, and the evolution of typical merengue.
