New York. – The executive president of the Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, paid a courtesy visit to the offices of the State Bank of India in New York City, as part of his agenda within the framework of the Third Real Estate Fair aimed at the Dominican diaspora. Aguilera was received by the president of the State Bank of India in the United States, Tarun Saxena, with whom he held a conversation focused on identifying cooperation opportunities and strengthening relations between both financial institutions. During the meeting, Saxena presented the evolution of that entity in the United States, highlighting its growth in recent decades, going from being a representative office to consolidating as a bank of relevance in the American financial system, offering facilities to large companies in New York and other states. The CEO of Banreservas highlighted the importance of continuing to consolidate strategic alliances with financial institutions of global reach, as part of the institutional vision to expand its international presence and generate greater opportunities for its clients. “We reaffirm our commitment to continue building strong relationships that contribute to economic development and the well-being of our clients, both in the Dominican Republic and abroad,” Aguilera said. Members of the Board of Directors and executives of Banreservas also participated in the visit, such as Pedro Pérez, José Ramón Brea, Nelly Carias, Ysidro García, Yamily López, José Obregón and Fernando Mir, among others.

On behalf of the State Bank of India, Devendra Panwar, Vice President & Head (Syndications); Rajiv Munjal, Vice President & Head (Trade); and Despalde Sharma, Vice President & Head Relationship – F1, were present.
