San Juan.– A 33-year-old man lost his life on Sunday night after suffering a traffic accident on the Sánchez–San Juan–Vallejuelo highway, specifically at the El Hato curve, near a gas station.
The victim was identified as Gustavo Montero Fortuna, who, according to the preliminary report, suffered severe traumatic brain injury and multiple injuries following the collision between the Suzuki AX100 motorcycle he was driving and a Honda CR-V SUV.
Montero Fortuna passed away while being transported by a 9-1-1 National Emergency System unit to the Dr. Alejandro Cabral Regional Teaching Hospital, where his death was confirmed.
The SUV was driven by Luis Gustavo de la Rosa Sánchez, 26, who was involved in the accident.
