Santo Domingo. – The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) announced this Tuesday that it maintains its emergency protocols active in the face of the rain forecasts that will affect a large part of the national territory as a consequence of the passage of a tropical wave.
The institution explained that all educational centers in the country have the established procedures to act in a timely manner and guarantee the safety and integrity of the educational community, especially students, teachers, and administrative staff.
The MINERD highlighted that the regional and district directorates are in permanent communication with civil protection agencies and local authorities, in order to coordinate any preventive measures or immediate response that may be necessary.
