Pablo Cruz, star of Chespirito, arrives at SMARTFILMS Dominicana
Santo Domingo. – Within the framework of the first edition of SMARTFILMS® Dominicana, the largest and most inclusive Film Festival in the world, the protagonist actor of the most watched and commented series in all of Latin America in 2025, Pablo Cruz, arrives in the Dominican Republic from Mexico.
After a successful Film Route that toured the country with workshops and training, SMARTFILMS® Dominicana is approaching its grand finale with the festival that will feature the participation of Cruz, who has become known for projects such as “Luis Miguel, the series” and “Chespirito, without wanting to want to”, which have catapulted his talent internationally.
“We are very excited to welcome Pablo for the closing of our first edition. In recognition of his long and successful career, we welcome him as an international guest to share with us his experience and journey, which we are sure will be of great contribution and motivation for all participants,” highlighted the actors and producers Evelyna Rodríguez and Danilo Reynoso.
Pablo Cruz is a Mexican actor who has worked in other productions such as the series “Las viudas de los jueves” and “Guerra de likes”; soap operas such as “El hotel de los secretos”, “A que no me dejas” and “Por siempre mi amor”, and the films “Me casé con un idiota”, “La Nave”, “En las buenas y en las malas” and “Solteras”, among others.
SMARTFILMS® Festival will take place on September 19th and 20th at Caribbean Cinemas Galería 360 and will feature a discussion with Pablo Cruz, in collaboration with the Dominican Association of Film Actors (ADAC).
