The National Police, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, is investigating the circumstances in which a 46-year-old woman lost her life, whose body was found this Tuesday morning with signs of violence on Jarro Sucio Street, Yabanal sector, La Vega province.
The victim was identified as Felicia Ramírez Capellán, whose body was recovered by the competent authorities and transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), where the corresponding autopsy will be performed to precisely establish the cause of death.
During the processing of the scene, Scientific Police technicians collected various pieces of evidence that are part of the investigation, while teams from the Central Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM), in coordination with the Public Ministry, are carrying out the necessary proceedings to identify and apprehend those responsible for this incident.
