New York.- Tourism Minister David Collado launched this Friday the new promotional route on the A Line of the New York subway, a landmark action that toured all of Manhattan and culminated in Washington Heights, recognized as the heart of the Dominican community in the city. This initiative is part of the Subway to Paradise campaign: “The Dominican Train”, designed to strengthen the emotional connection with the diaspora and promote the country as a tourist destination. Minister Collado said that this campaign reaffirms the country’s commitment to Dominicans residing abroad and their strategic role within national tourism.As part of the comprehensive strategy of the Subway to Paradise campaign, the Dominican Republic also has a promotional train on Line E, which was in circulation throughout December and continues to operate until January 11, expanding the reach of the action to thousands of users of the city’s transportation system. The new marking of Line A will be available to the public until February 1st, turning the journey into an immersive experience that brings Dominican identity to the daily lives of New Yorkers and visitors.“Today we are, once again here, in New York, with this activation, showcasing the beauty of our country and its diversified tourism offerings,” said Minister Collado.
