Trump appoints White House personal secretary as his new assistant

New York.- U.S. President Donald Trump announced this Sunday that starting September 1st, White House personal secretary Will Scharf will serve as assistant to the president and staff secretary of the executive mansion.

Scharf, who in his current position controls the flow of documents to the Oval Office, will replace David Warrington in his new duties, who previously served on Trump’s presidential campaign and is leaving the White House to join the private sector.

While Scharf, before arriving at the White House, was part of Trump’s legal team in his immunity case before the U.S. Supreme Court and other relevant cases.

“Will has done an extraordinary job in his current role as White House Staff Secretary and has also served as Chairman of the National Capital Planning Commission,” Trump indicated on his Truth Social network.

He also highlighted that he was a federal prosecutor, a private sector attorney, a law clerk for two federal appellate judges, “and an outstanding student” at both Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

“Will is tough, strong, and smart! Furthermore, he loves our country and respects the law,” he stated regarding his newly designated assistant and legal advisor, 40 years old.
