Santo Domingo.– The president of the Puerto Rico Basketball Federation (FBPUR), Yum E. Ramos Perales, highlighted the quality of the Arena Banreservas, assuring that it is a top-tier sports facility with the necessary conditions to host an NBA game.
During a conversation with the De Último Minuto team, Ramos Perales praised the modern infrastructure of the arena, highlighting that it meets international standards and represents an important step for the development and strengthening of basketball in the Dominican Republic.

The sports leader also valued the contribution of the Dominican players who participate in the Puerto Rican National Superior Basketball (BSN) league, making a special mention of shooting guard Jasel Pérez, whose talent, dedication, and connection with the Puerto Rican fans he highlighted.
“Jasel Pérez has earned the affection and respect of the Puerto Rican public thanks to his quality on the court and his professionalism,” expressed Ramos Perales, while acknowledging the growing presence and influence of Dominican players in the Puerto Rican league.
The statements were made within the framework of the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, where the Banreservas Arena is one of the main competition venues, establishing itself as one of the most modern sports facilities in the region
