Armed man injures three during attack on family in Santiago

Santiago.- Three people were injured by gunshots, including two women, after an armed man attacked a family that was sharing in front of their home, in an incident that occurred on 31st street of the San Antonio El Hoyo neighborhood, Santiago Oeste municipal district. One of the victims, Yudelka Luciano, received three shots in the back and was admitted to the José María Cabral y Báez hospital, where she underwent surgery and is in delicate condition, while Yokasta Antonia suffered an injury to her left hand and a third injured person, identified only as Jorge, was discharged on Monday afternoon.

Yokasta, with her face covered for fear of retaliation, identified the alleged aggressor as a man nicknamed “Pocho”, whom she holds responsible for the attack and asked the authorities to arrest him so that he may be brought to justice. The attack was captured in a security camera video that shows the attacker shooting at people while they were sharing with family.
