Santiago.- The lawyer Úber Ramírez Véras, legal representative of the second lieutenant of the National Police Domingo de los Santos, denounced this Friday that the Public Ministry kept “kidnapped” the eleven police officers accused of the death of five men in an event that occurred in the commercial plaza of the La Barranquita sector, in Santiago. Ramírez Véras expressed his concern after the postponement of the coercion measure hearing, noting that the defendants had not been able to speak with their legal representatives. He specified that Judge Yarisa Cabral decided to postpone the hearing of the case to ensure that the accused had access to their defenders.
