Santiago de los Caballeros.– The National Police reported that they are actively searching for a man identified as Darlin Martínez Ulloa (a) “Darlyn Zaza” and/or “Darlyn,” pointed out as the alleged person responsible for the death of 25-year-old Carolay Taveras Morel, which occurred in the early hours of last August 9, following an incident recorded in the parking area of a nightclub in this city.
As a result of the continuous monitoring of the case and the investigative work coordinated with the Public Ministry, the authorities identified the aforementioned individual as the alleged perpetrator of the act, for which he is being actively sought through arrest warrant No. 2026-AJ0068652.
According to preliminary investigation findings, Taveras Morel was allegedly injured after being struck by a vehicle, following an altercation with Martínez Ulloa in a nightclub parking lot. The young woman subsequently died as a result of blunt abdominal trauma.
Following up on the case, the authorities moved to a workshop located in the Santiago Oeste (Cienfuegos) municipal district, where they located and seized a gray 2017 Honda CR-V vehicle, identified as being linked to the incident.

Verification work and the collection of security camera footage made it possible to establish that the aforementioned vehicle was left in the vicinity of the workshop hours after the incident and subsequently brought into the establishment for repair purposes.
The vehicle underwent the corresponding technical processing and remains in police custody, as part of the evidence collected during the investigation.
The National Police maintains an active search and location effort for Darlin Martínez Ulloa (a) “Darlyn Zaza” and/or “Darlyn,” with the purpose of bringing him to justice so that he may answer for the acts attributed to him.
