Santo Domingo. – The Vice Minister of
Internal Commerce of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM), Ramón Pérez Fermín, announced this Friday that the prices of the main fuels will remain frozen during the week of September 20 to 26, 2025, thanks to the implementation of an extraordinary subsidy of
RD$231.1 million.
According to the official, the measure seeks to mitigate the impact of international increases in the local market, ensuring stability in high-demand products such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Regular and Optimal diesel, as well as Regular gasoline.

In detail, LPG will receive a subsidy of
RD$12.18 per gallon, Regular diesel
RD$16.40, Optimal diesel
RD$13.50 and Regular gasoline
RD$6.23.
Prices for the week of September 20th to 26th, 2025:
- Premium Gasoline: RD$290.10 per gallon (no variation).
- Regular Gasoline: RD$272.50 per gallon (no variation).
- Regular Gasoil: RD$224.80 per gallon (no variation).
- Optimum Gasoil: RD$242.10 per gallon (no variation).
- Avtur: RD$198.09 per gallon (down RD$0.71).
- Kerosene: RD$229.50 per gallon (down RD$0.30).
- Fuel oil #6: RD$156.88 per gallon (up RD$0.34).
- Fuel oil 1%S: RD$171.49 per gallon (down RD$1.30).
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG): RD$137.20 per gallon (no variation).
- Natural gas: RD$43.97 per m³ (no variation).
The average exchange rate used for the calculation of prices was
RD$62.96, according to the daily publications of the Central Bank.
