Santo Domingo, DR.- Upon their arrival in the Dominican Republic to present their tour “Se Buscan: Vivos o Inmortales – World Tour” (Wanted: Dead or Alive – World Tour), Servando and Florentino shared with the Dominican press their enthusiasm for reuniting with the Dominican public after four years without performing in the country. During the meeting, the artists also revealed which figures of Dominican music they would like to add to future collaborations.
Among the names mentioned, Juan Luis Guerra stood out, whom they described as one of the greatest musical references in the region. However, they explained that the ideal project with the renowned singer-songwriter would have a very special focus linked to the Christian faith.

“Juan Luis Guerra obviamente lo hemos hablado desde que llegamos la primera vez; cantar una canción a Jesús con Juan Luis, eso para mí sería, para nosotros, uno de esos sueños hechos realidad. Depende de las tareas que tenga dispuestas el de arriba con nosotros. Sería increíble hacerlo en la forma en la que él ha hecho música y que lo amamos como la hace. ¡Wao!”, expresaron durante la conversación con los medios.
In addition to Guerra, the Venezuelan brothers pointed out that they would also like to work with other exponents of Dominican music, including Mickey Taveras and Vicente García, artists whom they recognized for their contributions and trajectory within the music industry.
During the exchange with the press, Servando and Florentino were asked which immortal music artist they would have liked to have the opportunity to meet and record with. The answer was immediate: the legendary salsa musician Johnny Pacheco, a key figure in the history of salsa and founder of the Fania All-Stars.

“Definitely being with Johnny Pacheco, composing a song, watching him produce, conducting an orchestra, and being part of a song with Johnny Pacheco would have been beautiful,” the performers stated, highlighting the admiration they feel for the artistic legacy of the Dominican maestro.
The duo’s statements were offered upon their arrival in the Dominican Republic ahead of their concert this Saturday at the Óvalo de la Feria Ganadera.
