A magnitude 6.4 earthquake shakes the east coast of Taiwan
Taipei.- A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the east coast of Taiwan this Wednesday, with no casualties or material damage reported so far, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWA) of Taiwan.
The earthquake occurred at 19:00 local time (11:00 GMT) at sea, specifically 69 kilometers south of the Hualien County Hall (east), at a depth of 30.9 kilometers, according to data collected by the CWA.
