A 36-year-old Kentucky man is facing 10 felony counts of first-degree child abuse after authorities accused him of repeatedly covering his 3-month-old daughter’s mouth and nose to stop her from crying.
According to court documents, Shaun Christopher Webb allegedly told investigators that children are “like dogs” and must be trained and taught limits. He reportedly admitted using the same method on his 2-year-old son when he was a baby.
Webb remains jailed in Boone County on $500,000 bail. The investigation began after authorities received a video allegedly showing the incidents inside the family’s home.
