Iran accuses Trump of being a liar and a coward for threatening to “eliminate” its supreme leader

United Nations.- Iran today accused US President Donald Trump of being a liar and a coward for having “threatened to eliminate the supreme leader” of the country, Ali Jamenei. Iran’s mission to the UN, the only diplomatic representation of the Persian country on US territory, wrote today on its X account a post where Trump was not named, but it referred unequivocally to him. “The only thing more despicable than his lies is his cowardly threat to ‘eliminate’ the Iranian supreme leader,” the mission noted, referring to Donald Trump’s post on his Truth Social network yesterday, in which he said: “We know exactly where the so-called ‘supreme leader’ is hiding. He’s an easy target, but he’s safe there. We’re not going to eliminate him (kill him!), at least not for now.”
