Madrid.- The Spanish LaLiga and the First and Second division clubs have agreed to observe a minute of silence in the matches of the first matchday of both categories “in memory of the victims of the Colombia earthquake and in solidarity with all the people affected”.
LaLiga EA Sports 2026/27 will begin this Saturday with two matches, Deportivo Alavés-Getafe and Sevilla-Rayo Vallecano, while LaLiga Hypermotion will start on Friday with the Real Sociedad B-Castellón match.

Several parts of Colombia were struck last Monday by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that has left nearly 240 dead, according to regional authorities.
