New York.- De Último Minuto will provide special coverage this Sunday from Manhattan of the 44th edition of the Dominican Day Parade in New York, bringing all the events of this massive celebration to its audience in the Dominican Republic, the United States, and other parts of the world.
The broadcast will be available live through De Último Minuto TV, channel 6, YouTube, and the media outlet’s various social media platforms, as part of a special deployment to bring the public closer to the atmosphere that will be experienced on the streets of Manhattan.
The coverage will be led by communicators Santiago Contreras and Cristian Santana, special envoys from De Último Minuto to the well-known capital of the world, who will be on the streets sharing with Dominicans residing in the United States, New Yorkers, and people of other nationalities who join the so-called Dominican Parade every year.

The DUM team will show the atmosphere of the celebration live and will talk with participants, representatives of the diaspora, personalities, and citizens who will come to enjoy the parade along Sixth Avenue.
The coverage will allow for close monitoring of the main events of the parade, including the arrival of the delegations, floats, troupes, artists, and participating organizations, as well as the cultural and patriotic expressions that characterize one of the largest displays of Dominican identity outside of the Dominican Republic.

This year’s edition of the Dominican Day Parade in New York will be held under the theme “Identity and Culture” and will begin at 11:00 a.m. this Sunday, August 9, traveling along the Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue), in Midtown Manhattan.
Thousands of people will gather along the route waving the tricolor flag and enjoying music, dances, troupes, and other manifestations representative of Dominican culture.

This year, Dr. Ramón Tallaj, founder of SOMOS Community Care, will be the Grand Marshal of the parade, while communicator Frederick Martínez “El Pachá” has been announced as the king of the celebration. Also featured among the announced personalities are Shino Aguakate and Lizbel Ortiz.
From Manhattan, Santiago Contreras will bring to the De Último Minuto platforms not only the images of the parade, but also the voices and emotions of the Dominicans who have built part of their lives in New York without losing their connection to the Dominican Republic.
