Passengers were left stranded at Bhubaneswar Airport in India after an IndiGo flight scheduled to depart at 2:35 p.m. was canceled around 5:30 p.m., several hours after its scheduled departure time.
Travelers said they did not receive timely information about the cancellation and that, even around 6 p.m., many remained at the airport without clear communication or adequate assistance from the airline.
One passenger expressed frustration over the delay in notifying travelers and alleged a lack of cooperation from IndiGo staff.
“Our flight was scheduled for 2:35 p.m. Suddenly, it was canceled at 5:30 p.m. without properly informing the passengers. We are stranded at Bhubaneswar Airport and have not received a satisfactory response,” the passenger said.
