Trump threatens Russia with 100% tariffs if a peace agreement in Ukraine is not reached within 50 days

Washington.- The President of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened this Monday the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, with imposing tariffs of around 100% on his country if a peace agreement in Ukraine is not reached within 50 days.

Trump also announced that he will send weapons to the member countries of NATO with the aim that they transfer them to Ukraine and that these nations will pay for this weaponry.

“Today we have reached an agreement: we will send them weapons and they will pay for them. We, the United States, will not make any payment. We will not buy them, but we will manufacture them and they will pay for them,” Trump underlined during a meeting in the Oval Office of the White House with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
