LA ROMANA. – Los Toros del Este left the Tigres del Licey on the field for the second consecutive night after winning 7 runs to 6 in 10 innings, thanks to an extraordinary offensive performance by Yairo Muñoz and a walk negotiated by Denzer Guzmán with the bases loaded that sealed the victory at the Francisco Micheli Stadium.

Licey took the lead 1-0 in the first inning after a hit by Cristhian Adames combined with a throwing error by Guzmán. The Toros reacted immediately with RBI singles by Manuel Peña and Bryan de la Cruz, making the score 3-1.The blues regained control in the third inning with a four-run rally, driven by consecutive hits from Sergil Alcántara and Gustavo Núñez, as well as wild pitches and a walk. Ramón Hernández contributed a two-run single and Mel Rojas Jr. added a sacrifice fly to put the score at 5-3.
The Bulls kept fighting: a double by Muñoz in the fifth inning brought the score to 5-4, and another single by him in the seventh tied the score 5-5. In the opening of the tenth, Licey scored the advantage 6-5 when Adames drove in Cal Stevenson with a single to center. But the Toros responded strongly in the bottom half.
