Santo Domingo.- The Colombian women’s water polo team concluded the preliminary round with a 20-10 victory over Guatemala in today’s matches, corresponding to the XXV edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games.

With their victory, the Colombians finished the preliminary round with a 3-2 record and secured a spot in the semifinals, which begin this Saturday starting at 8:00 in the morning.
The first set was very close and concluded tied at 4, in the second they dominated 6 goals to 3, they also won the third 2 to 1 and they conquered the fourth 8 to 2.
The top scorers for Colombia were Sara Vanegas and Salomé Agudelo with 4 goals each, Daniela Marín scored 3, as did Laura Vanegas. For Guatemala, Jocelyn Fernández stood out with three goals and Saily González had two.
