Santiago.– After 17 days of anguish, uncertainty and silence, the National Police arrested this Monday a motoconcho identified only as Moisés, pointed out as a suspect in the disappearance of the teenager Normil Laureine Victoria, 12 years old, known as “Norly”, who has been missing since January 24th.
The girl was last seen around 5:00 in the afternoon, when she left her home in the Ensanche José Reyes sector, in Los Tocones, north of this city.
More than two weeks after the event, there is still no clear lead to establish their whereabouts.
According to her mother, Enive Senatus, a security camera captured the teenager minutes before she disappeared, constituting the last visual record of the girl. Since then, she claims she has only received promises and hope.
“It’s been 17 days and I have no proof, no answers. I trusted that person because he always took her to school. Now I don’t know what will happen tomorrow,” expressed the mother, visibly affected.
Detention after contradictory versions
The detained man, who used to transport the minor, had offered different versions about the disappearance, which led the authorities to detain him for investigation purposes. So far, the Police has not offered official details about the progress of the case.
Growing Despair
As days go by, despair deepens in Norly’s home. The family reports that, despite having filed the formal complaint, the institutional response has been slow, a situation that increases suffering and the feeling of abandonment.
“My daughter is not a number, it’s 17 days without knowing if she’s alive, if she’s hungry or scared,” Senatus claimed.
